Stanton G Ernst Observation Tower
This observation tower erected in 1985 to help
children see more of the world is dedicated
to a man of vision, Stanton G. Ernst.
A steadfast supporter of the Outdoor Education
Program from its inception, he served as
Director, Montgomery County Department of Parks
from 1976 to 1984 continuing a distinguished
career as naturalist, biologist, and conservationist.
