Pamiątkowa fontanna znajduje się na Placu Wolności w Poznaniu. Ujęcie wody jest niewielkie i jest tylko fragmentem większego pomnika. Na bocznej ścianie znajduje się wyryty napis informujący o historii tego miejsca, przedstawionej niżej. Na szczycie znajduje się posąg Hygei - postaci z mitologii greckiej symbolizującej zdrowie.
Rzeźba znajduje się w miejscu, w którym w 1841 roku Edward Raczyński wybuduował dla miasta studnię i poświęcił ją Wincentemu Priessnitzowi - twórcy wodolecznictwa. Posąg nosi rysy żony fundatora i został tu umieszczony w 1908 roku, gdy studnie przeniesiono. Obecnie jednak znajduje się tu niewielkie źródło wody powstałe w 1971 roku.
The commemorative fountain is located at Wolności Square in Poznań. The water intake is small and is only a fragment of a larger monument. On the side wall there is an engraved inscription informing about the history of this place, presented below. At the top there is a statue of Hygeia - a figure from Greek mythology symbolizing health.
The statue is located in the place where in 1841 Edward Raczynski built a well for the town and dedicated it to Vincent Priessnitz, the founder of water therapy. The statue bears the features of the founder's wife and was placed here in 1908 when the well was moved. Today, however, there is a small water spring that was established here in 1971.
