The metal horse is rearing on its hind legs. Rearing occurs when a horse or other equine "stands up" on its hind legs with the forelegs off the ground.
The horse sculpture is near life-sized. It is constructed of patches of various sized and shaped metal plates and welded together around a metal sub-frame.
There is a metal patchwork horse sculpture in front of the Adrian Farmer's Market on Toledo Street.
The sculpture is accessible 24/7 (although it is not lighted at night).
