Very close to the Macedonian Orthodox Cathedral Church Saint Sophia there is a restaurant with a unique shop sign.
The sign is made of wood that shows the name-giving church and the name "Restaurant Sv. Sofija". The sign has been carved and painted and is attached to a cast iron frame and pole.
The restaurant serves traditional Macedonian food (also the Ohrid trout, that only lives in lake Ohrid) and has tables inside and also on a separate terrace, that offers a great view to the church and other surroundings. The staff is very pleasant, patient and helpful. While we were there, the waiter filleted another guest's fish.
