Translated from the above noted text:
The Church of Notre-Dame-du-Portage was built between 1859 and 1863 thanks to the efforts and stones provided by the parishioners. The church is proud of a Stations of the Cross and a canvas of Saint-Hilaire. The Anglican chapel which stood to the east of the church has now disappeared. Large inns, villas, havens of rest remain everywhere and still live to the taste of vacationers. A stream (1.5 km east of the church) running down the cliff falls into the middle of the dream world, built here in miniature by a craftsman: nostalgic windmill, bridge, house, flower-filled spaces. This world has replaced the shop (opposite) of the carpenter-turner Nadeau, whose whitewashed walls are cleanly equal to the chalets of the townspeople.
