The small community of Leesburg pumps water from here to a tank up in the town to supply water to the community. The over flow from the spring is a popular spot for people in the area to stop and fill there jugs with clear cold spring water.
Across the road from the parking area you will be able to view the beatuiful Springfield Falls or walk the trail past the falls and seek out the "Springfield Falls Geocache".
