"La gare de Fosses-la-Ville était située au point kilométrique 10,50 de la ligne 150, de Tamines à Ahnée entre les gares d’Aisemont et la halte de Bambois.
La ligne 150 a été démontée sur presque tout son parcours à la fin du XXème siècle.
Un arrêt fut ouvert à Fosses-la-Ville dès l'ouverture de la ligne le 3 septembre 1879. Il faudra attendre 1891 pour que la ligne 150 soit ouverte en intégralité de Tamines à Anhée.
Comme toutes les gares d'origine de la ligne, le bâtiment fut construit en utilisant le modèle habituel pour les lignes construites par des concessionnaires privés entre 1873 et les années 1890 : le Plan type 18731. La gare possède une halle à marchandises qui existe toujours et semble avoir été reconvertie en habitation.
La nationalisation de la Compagnie du Nord - Belge en 1940 a entraîné la disparition du trafic de transit qui empruntait la portion nord de la ligne 150 au profit de la ligne 154 Namur - Dinant au profil beaucoup plus facile.
En août 1962, le trafic voyageurs entre Tamines et Ahnée est transféré sur la route. Les rails seront conservés à titre stratégique au-delà d'Aisemont avant d'être démontés au début des années 2000. Un RAVeL a été installé sur le reste de la ligne 150 entre Aisemont et Ahnée.
Depuis sa dernière rénovation, le bâtiment accueille le centre d'interprétation (musée) ReGare, consacré au patrimoine de Fosses-la-Ville et de sa région."

Line 150 was dismantled over almost its entire length at the end of the 20th century.
A stop was opened at Fosses-la-Ville as soon as the line opened on 3 September 1879. It was not until 1891 that line 150 was opened in its entirety from Tamines to Anhée.
Like all the original stations on the line, the building was constructed using the usual model for lines built by private concessionaires between 1873 and the 1890s: the 18731 model plan. The station has a goods hall which still exists and seems to have been converted into a residential building.
The nationalisation of the Compagnie du Nord - Belge in 1940 led to the disappearance of the transit traffic that used to use the northern portion of line 150 in favour of the much easier Namur - Dinant line 154.
In August 1962, passenger traffic between Tamines and Ahnée was transferred to the road. The rails will be kept strategically beyond Aisemont before being dismantled at the beginning of the 2000s. A RAVeL was installed on the rest of line 150 between Aisemont and Ahnée.
Since its last renovation, the building has housed the ReGare interpretation centre (museum), dedicated to the heritage of Fosses-la-Ville and its region".
