This dark-brown coloured wooden bench has horizontal seat slates and a vertically slatted backrest supported on a cast iron frame which forms the legs and armrests of the bench. The cast iron parts of the bench are painted black.

There is a rectangular plaque attached on the backrest of this bench which is inscribed as follows:
‘Precious memories of Eddie Cowell & Hilda Smith
We remember and we cry, we remember and we smile,
Oh what we'd give to have you here, to sit with us a while,
Both loved and missed every day
Sharon, Caroline, Vivienne & Julie xxx

The bench is positioned in the part of the Park dedicated to the Parish of Michael which runs alonside the eastern boundary.
