“Stocks. Possibly C17, restored 1957. Wood and wrought iron. 2 posts
support panels with 2 pairs of holes. 2 iron staples with loops for
padlocks. The stocks are protected by a shelter and iron railings, erected
when restoration was carried out in 1957.”
The shelter bears the inscription
“These stocks were restored in 1957 to the memory of Amy Winifred Robinson of Priory Lodge Follifoot and Col Gerard Maxwell Conton DSO of The Priory Follifoot.”
