The Deland Station Depot has a book exchange in the waiting room. Located by the hallway to the restrooms you will find a small bookshelf with assorted books for train passengers enjoyment while waiting in the station or to take along the train and leave in one of the other book exchanges at other stations. This train station is part of AmTrak Silver Service/Palmetto line. The Silver Meteor, the Silver Star and the Palmetto trains utilize this station that serves the eastern area of the country, running from Miami to New York.
There is ample parking adjacent to the train station, a lovely remodeled waiting room with seating to browse the books, a covered gazebo is outside with seating.
