Celeste Rodrigues was one of the sisters of Amália Rodrigues, the most famous Portuguese artist of all time. Celeste had a career based on her own merits, having starting singing professionally in 1951.
She had a long life and passed away in 2018, aged 95. She rests in Cemitério dos Prazeres, in a little corner reserved to famous Portuguese artists.
