Located three miles east of the Gem Acres Road and I-40 interchange. Small rest area located in the desert.
- Separate lots for autos and trucks/trailers/RVs. Not by much, just a concrete divider.
- No facilities for RVs
- Sheltered picnic tables
- Rest rooms
- Vending machines and Information building.
- Desert area, beware of rattlesnakes! (There is signage warning of this danger)

- There is a cache located in the West bound Haviland Rest Area. Which can be seen but not reached from this stop.
