Green be the turf above thee. Friend of thy better day. None knew thee but to love thee. Nor name thee but to praise.

The marker is gray granite and on the lawn of Harrison County Courthouse. Located on the grounds of the Courthouse are several markers including a Civil War Trail marker and a monument to Stonewall Jackson
