The former Lawton High School is a beautiful, large brick building, which is currently occupied as City Hall. The school was built in 1909. On the south lawn, which was the original main entrance to the school, the Class of 1931 has dedicated a stone fountain.

The fountain is built of native stone. The pool area is approximately 12 feet in diameter with a two foot high stone wall. A stone pillar rises at the center approximately 7 feet above the water line. It has a flat stone top, with a stone ball. A stone plaque embedded in the pillar is engraved "CLASS OF 1931".
