Rose Hill Cemetery is located in far south Kansas, on the southeast side of South Haven. It is on the east side of SW road, almost two miles south of the main street from I-35 to South Haven (Highway 166). A plaque at the entrance to the cemetery gives the years 1875-1963, which I presume means it was established around 1875.
The cemetery is very well maintained, with numerous trees for shade. A brick wall with an iron gate is the entrance to the cemetery. Fencing surrounds all sides, with fields on three of those sides. A small office/shed is located on the south end of the property, and a large map shows all sections of burials. The text is a little hard to read, but it's still handy to have that map showing the plots. A memorial honoring Veterans of all wars is at the east side of the grounds.
