Dit imposante beeldhouwerk bestaat in totaal uit 10 verschillende elementen.

Synopsis
De beeldengroep verhaalt in zijn gestileerde uitvoering en opstelling de geschiedenis van de mens en zijn immer durende gevecht met de wereld om hem heen.
De strijd van de (naakte) mens... die hoewel behorend bij een kudde... individueel worstelt om boven te blijven. Of worstelt hij om niet ten onder te gaan?

Grensland
De mens. Waar trek hij zijn grens? Verheft hij zich uit het land (grote buste beelden) Heeft hij de moed om zijn kop boven het maaiveld uit te steken of overschrijdt hij het grensland en gaat kopje onder (kleinste beeld).

Materiaal
Sloophout: roze gesaust. Weer, wind en regen bestendig. Er is gebruik gemaakt van afvalhout om de vergankelijkheid van mens en omgeving, maar ook de recupereerbaarheid van de mens en zijn omgeving te benadrukken.
De felle baby-rozekleur staat synoniem voor de huid: de kwetsbaarheid.De kleur dient als emotioneel behang dat de hoekigheid en de kubistische vormtaal van de elementen een menselijk gezicht geeft.

This impressive sculpture consists of a total of 10 different elements.

Synopsis
In its stylized execution and arrangement, the sculpture group tells the history of man and his ever-lasting battle with the world around him.
The struggle of (naked) man... who, although belonging to a herd... individually struggles to stay up. Or is he struggling not to perish?

Borderland
Human. Where does he draw his line? Does he rise out of the country (large bust images) Does he have the courage to stick his head above ground level or cross the border and go under (smallest image).

Material
Scrapwood: dull pink. Weather, wind and rain resistant. Waste wood has been used to emphasize the impermanence of people and the environment, but also the recoverability of people and their environment. The bright baby rose color is synonymous with the skin: the fragility, which serves as an emotional wallpaper that gives the angularity and cubic design language of the elements a human face.
