A wooden font bowl in St Joseph's Catholic Church, Monks Kirby.
The font once stood in a sunken area until the present platform, created with polished granite and timber fittings, was extended over it in 1996. The platform now under the tabernacle on the east wall was the original site of the priest’s chair and displays what appear to be five consecration crosses.
