A collection of fine 16th century medieval wall paintings in the BVM & St Leodegarius church, Ashby St Ledgers.

The wall paintings date from around 1500. Above the chancel arch is one of the most complete cycles in England of the Passion of Christ (visit link) , but very faded. There is also a fine St. Christopher on north wall; Flagellation of St. Margaret, c.1325 behind chancel arch, and Death with pick and shovel, 16th century, on the south of tower arch.
