This citizens memorial is located in Cedar Springs, Michigan at the White Pine Trailhead. The White Pine Trail is a rail trail park that is 92 miles long and extends from Grand Rapids to Cadillac, Michigan. The memorial consists of a large boulder with a plaque attached. The plaque reads:"Clara Gust 1921-2015 Clara moved from Ada, Michigan with her parents, George and Nellie Sillaway when she was 14. George worked 43 years for the Grand Trunk Railroad and was the last railroad agent in Cedar Springs. Clara was salutatorian of her 1939 class at CSHS. She married Roger Gust and had three children. After raising her family, she worked several years for the Red Flannel Factory. Thanks Mom, we love you. Gary, Joanne and Beverly"
