The marker has an inset of an eagle, and the emblem of Wyoming's Wildlife -- "Worth the Watching" -- in the lower right corner. In the lower left corner, the shield of the Wyoming Game & Fish Department is accompanied by "'Wyoming's Wildlife -- Worth the Watching' is funded in a large part through interest earned from the Wildlife Trust Account." The marker notes the cottonwoods in the area, focusing primarily on the birds living in them, but also referencing some of the other critters one might see among the trees.
