Oakdale Cemetery is owned by the City of Leetonia and is located 1/2 mile south. The Cemetery is very well maintained and freshly mowed the day i visited there. There is a nicely decorated Civil War Monument and very close to that is the grave of Ralph Ellis Dias Medal Of Honor recipient. It was awarded posthumously for his heroic conduct in Vietnam. He died in action on October 9, 1969 at age 19. His grave is decorated with 4 wreaths and some flags, very well remembered.
