The Ipswich Soldiers' Memorial Hall is a three-storey brick building. The foundation stone was laid in May 1920 and the hall opened in November 1921. The building contains three levels - basement, ground and first floors constructed of load bearing brickwork and timber floor framing and a corrugated iron roof.
