Der Glaskopf ist eine Erhebung mit einer Höhe von 686,8 m ü. NHN oberhalb von Glashütten und Oberems im Taunus. Der Glaskopf ist ein Teil des Taunushauptkamms, die benachbarten Berge in der Kammlinie sind der Butznickel im Westen und der Kleine Feldberg im Osten.
Seinen Namen hat der Berg durch die frühere Glasproduktion in Waldglashütten an seinen Hängen, wie die Glashütte an der Emsbachschlucht. Die in der Nähe liegende Gemeinde Glashütten hat ihren Namen aus demselben Grund erhalten.
The Glaskopf is an elevation with a height of 686,8 m ü. NHN above Glashütten and Oberems in the Taunus Mountains. The Glaskopf is a part of the main ridge of the Taunus, the neighbouring mountains in the ridge line are the Butznickel in the west and the Kleiner Feldberg in the east.
The mountain got its name from the former glass production in forest glassworks on its slopes, such as the glassworks on the Emsbach gorge. The nearby community of Glashütten received its name for the same reason.
