The grave of George Henry Winters is located in Aulenbach Cemetery in Reading, PA. According to his tombstone, he was born on April 16, 1878 and died by drowning when he was 15, on June 23, 1893. I have not been able to find any details of his accident although he is listed on Ancestry.com's Baptism records. He was baptized at St. Luke's Lutheran Church in Reading on July 20, 1878. He was the son of Christian and Mary Winters. George shows up in the 1880 Berks County census record as the third child of Christian and Mary Winter. At that time, the family lived on Buttonwood Street which is very near the Schuylkill River which may be where George drowned.
