Bloors Wharf is now part of Riverside Country Park which is a long narrow park along the banks of the River Medway.

From 1869, maps began to show a small quay. It started as a fisherman's wharf, then had warehouses and was finally a scrap yard and ship breaker's site.

The industrial aspect of this wharf closed in 1997 and and the buildings on the wharf have been cleared and it is now an empty abandoned space with a concrete seawall and steel fence. Walking on the wharf is now common and and now part of the country park. On occasions, at high tide, i have seen fisherman casting out in an attempt to catch fish.
