Vejle Skytteforening etablerede haven i 1859, hvor den kun var tilgængelig for Skyttelaugets medlemmer og familier.
Vejle Kommune overtog den i 1914 og Skyttehushaven var dermed tilgængelig for alle.
I 2019 blev haven renoveret og blev inddelt i 8 forskellige områder. Om sommeren er der af og til gratis koncerter.
Vejle Shooting Association established the garden in 1859, where it was only available to the members and families.
Vejle Municipality took over it in 1914 and the Skyttehushaven was thus accessible to everyone.
In 2019 the garden was renovated and divided into 8 different areas. In the summer there are sometimes free concerts.
