FR A l'entrée de cette ferme, on peut voir, exposé cet engin qui n'a plus servi depuis longtemps.
C'est un engin qui devait être tiré mais avait deux fonctions différentes selon la façon dont l'animal, devant , était attaché et que ce soit la partie avant ou la partie arrière qui soit utilisée.
La partie avant semble être une charrue, c'est à dire un instrument aratoire dissymétrique, disposant d’un attelage, utilisé pour un travail du sol appelé labour. L’action de la charrue est de découper une tranche de terre et de la retourner sur un côté de l’axe de l’action du fait de son versoir.
La partie arrière semble être une sous-soleuse ou décompacteur (très utilisé pour les betteraves sucrières) qui peut être muni d'un outil spécial dit « dent Jallu » ayant deux fonctions essentielles : fendre la terre sans la retourner, casser la semelle de labour avec une pointe triangulaire perpendiculaire à la lame qui fend le sol et dont la partie arrière élargie en forme d'aileron peut ameublir le haut de la semelle de labour et le bas de la couche antérieurement labourée.

La sous-soleuse est constituée de 1 à plusieurs (3 à 5) socs étroits visant à éclater le sol sur une profondeur d'au moins 50 cm. C'est un outil qui doit être employé en condition de sol à faible plasticité (sol très sec) dans une recherche de fragmentation optimale. Ici, tiré par un cheval, c'est une lame seule que l'on observe à l'arrière de l'engin.

EN At the entrance of this farm, we can see, exposed this machine which has not been used for a long time.
It is a machine which had to be pulled but had two different functions depending on how the animal, in front, was attached and whether the front part or the rear part was used.
The front part seems to be a plow, that is to say an asymmetrical tillage implement, with a hitch, used for tillage called plowing. The action of the plow is to cut a slice of soil and turn it on one side of the axis of the action because of its mouldboard.
The rear part seems to be a subsoiler or subsoiler (widely used for sugar beets) which can be fitted with a special tool called "Jallu tooth" having two essential functions: to split the soil without turning it over, to break the plow sole with a triangular point perpendicular to the blade which splits the ground and whose widened rear part in the shape of aileron can loosen the top of the plowing sole and the bottom of the previously plowed layer.

The subsoiler consists of 1 to several (3 to 5) narrow plowshares aiming to burst the ground to a depth of at least 50 cm. It is a tool which must be used in conditions of soil with low plasticity (very dry soil) in search of optimal fragmentation. Here, pulled by a horse, it is a single blade that we observe at the back of the machine.
