Dock at the Unveristy of Louisiana Monroe campus
An investigation is underway after a body was found Monday on the University of Louisiana Monroe campus.
According to KNOE, the university says that the body of a woman was found on campus in the early morning hours of September 23.
The body was reportedly found near a dock at Bayou Park located across from University Library.
A spokesperson for the university tells KNOE that the woman is not a student or a member of university staff.
A cause of death is under investigation.
An identity has not been released.
