Billingsley Church was built in around 1140 in the reign of King Stephen. It is Grade II* listed, largely rebuilt in 1875 by Robert Griffiths in the Decorated style

A small, old graveyard with few more modern memorials. One of these remembers George & Mary Ellen Williams. A marble slab bears the following :-
"In Loving Memory of
GEORGE WILLIAMS
DIED 17TH MARCH 1954
AGED 79 YEARS
AND MARY ELLEN
HIS WIFE
DIED 25TH MAY 1964
AGED 84 YEARS"
