FR Porte la plus ancienne du village, détruite par la foudre en 1892. Elle permettait l'entrée de la rue de la Saunerie (issu du provençal "saunarie" qui signifie "abatoir") la porte était surmonté d'une statue en fonte de la vierge et d'un cadran solaire portant la maxime latine "sic vita transit (ainsi passe la vie).

Le village est resté enserré dans ses remparts jusqu'en 1840, on autorisa alors les habitants des maisons et remises appuyées sur le rempart à percer des ouvertures pour avoir un accès direct a l‘extérieur.

En 1862, deux rues, de la porte du Serre a la porte d’Hautuelle et de la porte du Serre à la porte d‘Ardène furent aménagées et la construction de maisons en dehors des remparts devint possible.

Associé à cette pancarte, un plan de la ville datant de l'époque napoléonienne est exposé.
EN The oldest door in the village, destroyed by lightning in 1892. It allowed entry to the rue de la Saunerie (from the Provençal "saunarie" which means "slaughterhouse") the door was surmounted by a cast iron statue of the virgin and of a sundial carrying the Latin maxim "sic vita transit (thus passes the life).

The village remained enclosed in its ramparts until 1840, the inhabitants of the houses and sheds leaning on the rampart were then authorized to pierce openings to have direct access to the outside.

In 1862, two streets, from the Porte du Serre to the Porte d'Hautuelle and from the Porte du Serre to the Porte d'Ardène, were built and it became possible to build houses outside the ramparts.
