A very old fountain in the town center of Sierre.

EN: This old fountain with two stone troughs stands in the southeast of the old town of Sierre on the Route du Simplon.
It has two square stone troughs of different sizes. The southern trough is wider and shorter and has slightly damaged edges. The northern trough has clearly visible connection points in the corners and two metal bars for storing buckets under the tap. The fountain column has a rusty metal structure on the top that I have no idea what it is good for.
This fountain obviously consists of completely different components that used to belong to other fountains and were located in other places. The troughs in particular look very old, probably over 200 years.
FR: Cette ancienne fontaine à deux bassins en pierre se trouve au sud-est de la vieille ville de Sierre sur la Route du Simplon.
Il a deux bassins carrées en pierre de différentes tailles. Le bassin sud est plus large et plus court et a des bords légèrement endommagés. Le bassin nord a des points de connexion clairement visibles dans les coins et deux barres métalliques pour ranger les seaux sous le robinet. La colonne de la fontaine a une structure métallique rouillée sur le dessus pour laquelle je ne sais pas à quoi elle sert.
Cette fontaine est évidemment constituée de composants complètement différents qui appartenaient à d'autres fontaines et étaient situés à d'autres endroits. Les bassins en particulier semblent très anciennes, probablement plus de 200 ans.
DE: Dieser alte Brunne mit zwei Steintrögen steht im Südosten der Altstadt von Sierre an der Route du Simplon.
Er hat zwei viereckige Steintröge von unterschiedlichen Grössen. Der südliche Trog ist breiter und kürzer und hat leicht beschädigte Kanten. Der nördliche Trog hat gut sichtbare Verbindungsstellen in den Ecken und zwei Metallstäbe zum Abstellen von Eimern unter dem Wasserhahn. Die Brunnensäule hat eine rostige Metallstruktur auf der Spitze, von der ich keine Ahnung habe, wofür sie gut ist.
Dieser Brunnen besteht offensichtlich aus völlig unterschiedlichen Bestandteilen, die früher zu anderen Brunnen gehörten und an anderen Orten standen. Besonders die Tröge sehen sehr alt aus, vermutlich über 200 Jahre.
