Origine/signification:

Blasonnement :

Origin/significance:

It was originally granted on June 26, 1822. It was granted again on June 30, 1838 and September 5, 1978. Beaumont already had a castle in the 11th century and received its town rights in 1246. At the same time, a seal was created showing a fortified castle. The coat of arms was based on this seal and had been in use since the 15th century. They were originally granted in 1822 and have not changed since then, although the coat of arms became more detailed after the mergers of 1977.

 Coat of Arms :

Gules a castle Argent open from the field, the portcullis raised, doubly crenellated, supporting a recessed openwork building with a gabled roof, the gate flanked by two two-storey turrets, openwork, covered in pepperpot and accompanied to the dexter and sinister by a projecting tower, two-storey openwork, the roof of said towers extended from a building seen in perspective and supported at the central gable. The shield is crowned by a golden crown with five finials.
