Auf dem Ettringer Hausberg Hochsimmer steht der Aussichtsturm Hochsimmerturm, von dem bei passendem Wetter unter anderem auch der Kölner Dom zu sehen ist. Der Hochstein ist durch die sagenumwobene Hochsteinhöhle bekannt. Der Bellerberg ist wegen seiner Kraterlandschaft sehenswert."

[EN] "Ettringen is a local church in the district of Mayen-Koblenz in Rhineland-Palatinate. It belongs to the Vordereifel association of municipalities, which has its administrative headquarters in Mayen.

Ettringen is located on the eastern edge of the Hohe Eifel about 3 km (as the crow flies) northeast of Mayen. It lies between the mountains Hochsimmer (587.9 m above sea level) in the west-northwest, Hochstein (562.5 m above sea level) in the north and Ettringer Bellerberg (also: "Ettringer Bellberg"; 427.5 m above sea level) in the south.

On Ettringen's local mountain Hochsimmer stands the Hochsimmerturm observation tower, from which, in suitable weather, the Cologne Cathedral can be seen, among other things. The Hochstein is famous for the legendary Hochstein Cave. The Bellerberg is worth seeing because of its crater landscape."
