This is the middle Right of Way marker of three ROW markers found within about 200 feet along the sidewalk paralleling West Hildebrand Avenue. This TxDOT ROW is in great shape and very readable. It appears to be a round stainless steel disc with Texas Dept. of Transportation stamped in an arc along the top outer edge of the disc. Along the same arc at the bottom of the disc is stamped ROW. A second line of stamped text in a smaller arc, on the left side when facing the disc, states: Elev - Sta. In the center is a set of crossed lines forming a horizontal and vertical X. Handstamped onto the disc in the lower half, between the X and the ROW text is the number 401. This is believed to be the Station number, since other benchmarks in the surrounding area indicate the elevation of this part of the neighborhood to be in the 700 feet range.

The location of this TxDOT ROW marker Station #401 disc is easily found because it is mounted in the sidewalk concrete at the west corner of the junction of Warner Avenue with West Hildebrand Avenue. At this corner there is installed a slip-proof rubber pad in the sloped portion of the sidewalk that declines to street level. About a foot south of the bottom corner of this anti-slip pad is where this TxDOT ROW #401 is found.

This is the middle marker of three ROW markers along this stretch of sidewalk. There is another TxDOT ROW marker (See WM12424) found about 112 feet EAST of this featured one. There is also yet another TxDOT ROW marker (See WM1247W) found about 83 feet WEST of this featured way mark.
