Kaffeekännchen is German for Coffee Pot.

The modern design does not give away the shops age: This has been Brandenburg's favorite Coffee Shop for over 100 years.

The author remembers going thee with his grand mother, who met her friends there once a week. While the ladies enjoyed their coffee, pastries and cream he got a coffee soaked sugar cube. :-)
