CZ: Socha "Lidická matka" socharky Marie Uchytilové z roku 2000 (instalovaná 2009) umístená u kladenského gymnázia. Na soše je negativní reliéf dítete.

Socha upomíná na tragickou událost po vypálení stredoceské vesnice Lidice (visit link) nemeckými fašisty – do telocvicny kladenského gymnázia byly 10.6.1942 odvezeny esesáky lidické ženy a deti. Ženy byly oddeleny od detí, ženy byly odvezeny do koncentracního tábora Ravensbrück. Vetšina detí zahynula ve speciálních plynových automobilech v Chelmnu (nemecky Kulmhof an der Nehr, na polském území obsazeném v roce 1939 Nemci). Nekteré deti byly ješte v gymnáziu a pozdeji v Lodzi (nemecky Litzmannstadt, na polském území obsazeném v roce 1939 Nemci) vybrány k ponemcení.

The statue is reminiscent of a tragic event after the burning of the Central Bohemian village of Lidice (visit link) by German fascists - June 10, 1942 SS-men took children and women from Lidice to the grammar school. The women were separated from the children, the women were taken to Ravensbrück concentration camp. Most children died in special gas cars in Chelmno (German Kulmhof an der Nehr, in Polish territory occupied by Germans in 1939). Some children were selected for Germanization at the grammar school and later in Lodz (German Litzmannstadt, in Polish territory occupied by the Germans in 1939).
