FR On trouve sur la commune de Saint-Hippolyte un très grand temple protestant, un des plus grands de France, comparable à celui d'Anduze (seulement 1 m² de moins), édifié au début du xixe siècle dans le style néoclassique, avec colonnade en façade.
Ses portique et grand fronton encadré de deux tours-clochers inhabituelles pour ce type d'édifice renforçent encore plus l'aspect monumental.
L'intérieur est entouré de toutes parts de galeries sur colonnes et la vaste et haute nef couverte d'une voûte en berceau brisé. Il possède un grand orgue d'esthétique franco-allemande construit en 1853 par Beaucourt & Voegeli.
Enfin, ce temple possède deux clochers.
EN We find in the town of Saint-Hippolyte a very large Protestant temple, one of the largest in France, comparable to that of Anduze (only 1 m² less), built in the early 19th century in the neoclassical style, with colonnade in facade.
Its portico and large pediment framed by two bell towers unusual for this type of building further reinforce the monumental aspect.
The interior is surrounded on all sides by galleries on columns and the vast and high nave covered with a broken barrel vault. It has a large Franco-German aesthetic organ built in 1853 by Beaucourt & Voegeli.
Finally, this temple has two bell towers.
