This chapel has a rectangular plant. It's not known when its original construction took place, but in the XVI century there is a reference of works, so it was either built by then or a it was a reference to a renovation.

Accordingly to the oral sources, it was built by the river boatmen as a a result of a religious promise.

It was a burial place and there are traces of the presence of bones of 25 individuals.
