CZ: 7114 Weinek je planetka nacházející se v hlavním pásu asteroidu. Objevil ji A. Mrkos (1986). Jméno Weinek navrhli J. Tichá a M. Šolc.
Ladislaus Weinek (1848-1913), devátý reditel klementinské observatore v Praze, spolupracoval s Küstnerem pri objevu pohybu pólu. Vydal mesícní atlas na základe fotografií z Lickovy hvezdárny.
Fotografie a souradnice ukazují hrob L. Weineka na Olšanských hrbitovech.
EN: 7114 Weinek is asteroid located in the main asteroid belt. It was discovered by A. Mrkos (1986). The name Weinek was suggested by J. Tichá and M. Šolc.
Ladislaus Weinek (1848-1913), the ninth director of the Clementinum Observatory in Prague, worked with Küstner to discover the movement of the pole. He published a monthly atlas based on photographs from Lick's observatory.
Photographs and coordinates show the grave of L. Weinek at the Olšany Cemeteries.
