"Duerkheimer Wurstmarkt" is worldwide's largest wine festival.
It taskes place annually on the second and third weekend of September.
For the first time, this wine festival took place in 1417.
Located at a roundabout next to the entrance of the event area, you can see the countdown displaying the remaining time until start of the next edition of the Wurstmarkt.
On their website, there is also a contdown of days until opening day "Eröffnungstag".
