"In remembrance of the American nutrition pioneer Weston A. Price, DDS, who traveled the world in search of the secret to health. In 1931 and 1932 he studied the Swiss of the Lötschental and found that their traditional foods provided them with excellent health, strong bones, and little to no dental cavities. Their diet consisted largely of raw milk, cheese, and butter, as well as rye bread made from freshly ground grain. They also ate meat from sheep, goats, or cows about once a week. This photograph demonstrates the sturdiness and health of the Swiss children playing bare foot in the ice cold waters of Faflersee. In Erinnerung an den amerikanischen Ernährungswissenschaftspionier Weston A.
