Eleftherios Venizelos Square is the central square, on the waterfront, surrounded by cafes, restaurants, and other shops. In the center of the square is an 12' diameter octagonal marble fountain. In the center of the 3' high octagonal basin is a square pedestal which holds a circular basin. Water flows up from the center of the top basin and overflows down to the octagonal basin below.
