"The church is set down a path on the opposite side of the road to the Village Hall, where car parking can be found. A noticeboard marks the end of the path. The dial is high up in the centre of the south face of the tower.

The dial shows 6 am to 6 pm in hours with no subdivisions. It uses upright Roman numerals with XII for noon and IIII for 4 pm. There is a semicircle around the root of the gnomon from which the hour lines emerge.

The square-section gnomon rod is slightly bent down and has two side sweeping supporters.

A faint Inscription at the top of the dial face reads: “J. -Bean-cock 1681”.(Reading of date may not be correct.)"
