Universal's Volcano Bay is a tropical-themed water park located at Universal Orlando Resort in Orlando.
Volcano Bay is owned and operated by Universal Parks & Resorts and replaced Wet 'n Wild as Universal Orlando Resort's water park.

The park is themed around a 200-foot-tall (61 m) volcano named "Krakatau," and opened on 25th May 2017. It is open all year with the water heated in the winter.

Volcano Bay's attractions are located in four themed areas; Krakatau, Wave Village, River Village and Rainforest Village, each area is inspired by various Polynesian islands and cultures.

The centerpiece of the park "Krakatau", a 200-foot-tall (61 m) volcano has waterfalls during the day and lava flows at night.

"In their quest for a new island home, the fabled Waturi people searched high and low for the perfect island paradise — and they found it at Universal’s Volcano Bay water theme park at Universal Orlando Resort! Split into four distinct areas anchored by the towering, 200-foot-tall Krakatau volcano, the park is a stunning testament to the Waturi philosophy: “Water Is Life and Life Is Joy.”
This imaginative water theme park is equal parts vibrant and serene, and resort-like amenities and creative menu offerings only add to the South Pacific island appeal. Sip a specialty cocktail or sample Polynesian delights as you plunge into island life!
Excitement awaits in Rainforest Village, including Kala & Tai Nui Serpentine Body Slides, Maku Puihi Round Raft Rides, Punga Racers, Taniwha Tubes — Tonga & Raki, TeAwa the Fearless River and Ohyah & Ohno Drop Slides. Or, take a relaxing dip in the Puka Uli Lagoon.
Tranquility also abounds at Wave Village thanks to Waturi Beach and The Reef, as does adventure courtesy of Ko’okiri Body Plunge. Then, drift away along the Kopiko Wai Winding River at River Village, which has fun for younger guests and their families at Tot Tiki Reef, Runamukka Reef and Honu ika Moana — and excitement for thrill-seekers at Krakatau Aqua Coaster.
Universal’s Volcano Bay further benefits from the innovative TapuTapu wearable technology. Upon entry, you’ll receive a wearable that will change the way you wait in lines, and must be returned at the end of the day. Simply swipe your band against a totem, and you’ll be given a designated time to return. Plus, your wristband will reveal amazing surprises throughout the park!" SOURCE: (visit link)
