The side door of the Limon Library is painted to resemble a bookcase. The bookcase has four shelves (the top is the tallest), and each shelf displays something to set the books apart: shelf 1 has a bucking bronco on top of three horizontal books; shelf 2 has a small jar with flowers, on top of two books; shelf 3 has an open book (page displayed is wheat), on the left side; the bottom shelf has a wooden train on the right side. Most of the books in the mural are vertically displayed, spine towards the reader. Some of the titles are: Little House On the Prairie, The Indian in the Cupboard, The Very Quiet Cricket, Green Eggs and Ham, and Horton Hears a Who! The bottom face of the top shelf says: "In Appreciation of John Rohr".
