" Construite au XVIIIe siècle, cette église, dont le clocher est situé à l'extrémité ouest de l'édifice, a une nef principale flanquée de deux bas-côtés et un chœur plus bas que la nef principale. Elle est principalement bâtie en craie, avec toutefois un soubassement en grès et quelques parties en briques.
L'église possède un mobilier remarquable, comme le maître-autel de 1630 comportant un tableau représentant Ste-Berthe abbesse, des stalles singulières où sont sculptés des animaux et les fonts baptismaux en grès des environs de 1600.
L'église St-Gilles abrite également la châsse de Ste-Berthe du XVIIe siècle qui renferme les restes de la sainte.
L'importance que l'on accorde à Sainte-Berthe à Blangy est dû au fait qu'elle fonda au VIIe siècle l'abbaye de Blangy. D'ailleurs, une neuvaine à Sainte-Berthe a lieu en juillet à Blangy et pour l'occasion, l'église se pare de nombreuses décorations, comme on peut le voir sur la photo ci-dessous prise en juillet 2010 de l'intérieur de l'église.
