Taken from Wikipedia, "Fenwick Island Lighthouse is a lighthouse in Delaware, United States, on the Delaware/Maryland border. The structure dates back to 1858 making it the oldest lighthouse in the state of Delaware."
Taken from the Guide Book, "Left from Selbyville, 10.2 m., is FENWICK ISLAND LIGHTHOUSE (open by permission), about one-half mile from the ocean; it stands in Delaware against the Maryland line. The 80-foot tower, painted white, has a prism lamp visible for 15 miles at sea. It was erected in 1857."
