"Constructed in the early 1840s, this stone building served as a school throughout the 1800s, and then was converted to a private residence for many years. When the Union Springs Central School was built on this property in 1936, the stone school became the Home Economics classroom. After being renovated in 2009, the building reopened as a fully equipped classroom for Union Springs Junior and Senior High School students."
