The BMP-1 is a Soviet amphibious tracked infantry fighting vehicle. It was produced under license in former Czechoslovakia as BVP-1. The model of BVP-1 painted by "dessert" camouflage is presented on a display in front of the factory "Policské strojírny" where refurbishments, modernizations, and spare parts for all types of military vehicles is made.

The BVP-1 (BMP-1) armoured personnel carrier is amphibious waterproof tracked vehicle featuring good armour protection and manoeuvring abilities. The BVP-1 is equipped with a heavy 73 mm gun and a coupled 7.62 mm machine gun. The BVP-1 is designed to transport a motorized combat infantry unit of 8 members. The armoured personnel carrier is equipped with a manually loaded launching device.
