[GER] Diese Sonnenuhr steht im Museumsdorf Volksdorf. Sie ist vom Eingang schon zu sehen und von Uwe Christian Lindemann im Jahre 1973 geschaffen worden.
Auf einem kniehohen Sockel aus Sandstein (ca. 1x1m) ist sie montiert. Der Sockel ist mit den 12 Tierkreiszeichen verziert und hat die Inschrift: AMICIS QUA LIBET HORA DOCET UMBRA
[Übersetzung: "FÜR FREUNDE ZU JEDER STUNDE. LEHRT DER SCHATTEN"]

[ENG] This sundial is located in the museum village Volksdorf. It can already be seen from the entrance and was created by Uwe Christian Lindemann in 1973.
It is mounted on a knee-high sandstone base (approx. 1x1m). The base is decorated with the 12 signs of the zodiac and has the inscription: AMICIS QUA LIBET HORA DOCET UMBRA
[Translation: "FOR FRIENDS TO EVERY HOUR. TEACH OF SHADES"]
